Article Processing Charges

Didascein (Journal of English Education) is committed to providing high-quality scholarly publishing while ensuring that all published articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide through an Open Access policy.

To support the editorial and publication process, starting from September 2024, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 300,000 (three hundred thousand Indonesian Rupiah) for each manuscript accepted for publication.

There is NO submission fee. Authors are not required to make any payment when submitting their manuscripts. The APC is charged only after the manuscript has successfully passed the editorial and peer review process and has been officially accepted for publication.

WHAT DOES THE APC COVER?

The APC supports the following publication services:

• Editorial management and manuscript processing
• Peer review administration
• Copyediting and proofreading
• Layout editing and typesetting
• DOI (Digital Object Identifier) registration
• Online publication through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform
• Journal website maintenance
• Long-term digital archiving

The APC is intended solely to support the operational costs of scholarly publishing and does not influence editorial decisions. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated solely based on their academic quality, originality, significance, and relevance through a rigorous double-blind peer review process.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

After a manuscript has been officially accepted for publication, the Editorial Office will notify the corresponding author through the OJS notification system and/or the registered email address.

The acceptance notification will include payment instructions. Authors are requested to complete the APC payment and submit proof of payment to the Editorial Office for verification.

The manuscript will proceed to copyediting, DOI registration, production, and publication after the payment has been successfully verified.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• APC is charged per accepted article.
• No payment is required during manuscript submission or the peer review process.
• Payment instructions, including bank account information, will only be provided after the manuscript has been accepted.
• Any applicable bank transfer charges are the responsibility of the author.
• The APC is generally non-refundable once the publication process has commenced.
