Respon Pertumbuhan Dua Varietas Padi Hibrida Akibat Pemberian Dosis Pupuk Anorganik pada Budidaya Terapung

This research aims to determine the growth of rice plants of Mapan P05 and Hipa 21 rice varieties due to the application of NPK fertilizer in the floating raft cultivation system. This research was carried out in the Blackwater pool Lebak Jakabaring Sport Center area, Palembang, South Sumatera, which took place from Week 2 (Two) of June 2025 to Week 3 (Three) September 2025. The research design used is Randomized Block Design (RAK). The treatment tested consists of three levels of NPK fertilizer dosage (16:16:16), namely P1 (8.4 grams/plant), P2 (9.9 grams/plant), and P3 (11.4 grams/plant). The observed parameters consist of plant height (cm), the number of overall and productive tillers, weight of 1000 grains (g), grain weight per pot (g), dry weight per pot (g), chlorophyll content, soil pH and water pH. The research results show that the application of NPK fertilizer has a real to very real effect on almost all growth and yield parameters in both rice varieties. This study proves that the dose of NPK fertilizer 11.4 g/plant of the Mapan P05 Variety has a higher and more productive yield potential compared to the Hipa 21 Variety, shown by the total number of tillers 37, 22, the number of productive tillers 34.11, weight of 1000 grains 26.04 g, grain weight 108.90 g and dry seed weight 84,51 g, while the Hipa 21 variety is only superior in plant height of 115.04 cm.
