Universitas Indo Global Mandiri supports educational infrastructure development through the provision of student rental flats (Rusunawa). One of the key aspects in rusunawa construction is the structural quality, which must be capable of resisting loads and ensuring occupant safety. Concrete, as the primary structural material, significantly influences the performance of the structure. This study aims to compare the structural design of the Universitas Indo Global Mandiri rusunawa using concrete compressive strengths of fc′ 25 MPa and fc′ 30 MPa, and to determine the differences in internal forces and reinforcement requirements. The building was designed using a Special Moment Resisting Frame (SMRF) system subjected to dead, live, wind, and earthquake loads. Structural analysis was conducted using SAP2000 to obtain internal forces, while Microsoft Excel was used to determine reinforcement requirements. The results showed that beams and columns with fc′ 25 MPa concrete produced lower internal forces than those with fc′ 30 MPa concrete. However, the variation in concrete compressive strength did not affect the required reinforcement. The main beams required 3D16 support reinforcement and 2P10–190 shear reinforcement, secondary beams required 2D16 support reinforcement and 2P10–190 shear reinforcement, while columns required 3D13 longitudinal reinforcement and D10–200 transverse reinforcement.
2026-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil LATERAL https://ejournal.univ-tridinanti.ac.id/index.php/lateral/article/view/1944 ANALISIS SPASIO-TEMPORAL KEJADIAN BANJIR DI KOTA PALEMBANG TAHUN 2024 - 2026 2026-05-31T20:55:12+07:00 R A S Delima Amanda Putri amanda@um-palembang.ac.id Verinazul Septriansyah zuulfitrianaumari@univ-tridinanti.ac.id Marice Agustini amanda@um-palembang.ac.id
Urban flooding is a recurrent hydrometeorological disaster in Palembang, primarily caused by high-intensity rainfall, limited drainage capacity, and rapid urbanization. The spatio-temporal patterns identified in this study indicate a tendency for recurrent flood events to occur in the same locations, providing a basis for determining priority zones for urban flood vulnerability assessment and mitigation planning. This study analyzes 13 flood events recorded between 2024 and 2026 using data obtained from the Disaster Information System (SITABA) managed by the Ministry of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia. The analyzed data include geographic coordinates, occurrence dates, flood causes, inundation depths, and impacts on infrastructure. Spatial analysis reveals that flood-prone areas are concentrated in the districts of Ilir Timur I, Ilir Timur II, Ilir Barat I, Seberang Ulu I, and Kemuning, which are characterized by extensive impervious surfaces and inadequate drainage systems. Temporal analysis indicates an increasing frequency of flood events, with inundation depths ranging from 10 to 80 cm. The primary causes of flooding were identified as high-intensity rainfall exceeding drainage system capacity, compounded by backwater effects from the Musi River. These findings provide important insights for urban flood mitigation planning, drainage system rehabilitation, and the development of more resilient urban water management strategies in Palembang City.
2026-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil LATERAL https://ejournal.univ-tridinanti.ac.id/index.php/lateral/article/view/1507 ANALISIS KAPASITAS TANGKI SEPTIK KOMUNAL DESA SUNGAI BAUNG KECAMATAN TALANG UBI PALI 2026-05-17T20:19:15+07:00 Agus Muslim agusrafa7873@gmail.com Kiagus Muhammad Aminuddin kmaminuddin@ft.unsri.ac.id David Bahrin agusrafa7873@gmail.com Deby Ansyory debyansyory22@gmail.com
The Community-Based Sanitation Program (SANIMAS) is a component of the Urban Sanitation and Rural Infrastructure (USRI) program that aims to create and improve the quality of life of the community, both individually and in groups, especially low-income communities in densely populated, slum and sanitation-prone urban areas. However, integrated evaluations that simultaneously address capacity, safety, and economic benefits remain limited. This study aims to analyze the impact of widening the Simpang 3 Talang Subur – Talang Kemang road section in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency on traffic capacity, road safety, and economic efficiency. Primary data were collected through an Average Daily Traffic (ADT) survey using the traffic counting method, while secondary data included vehicle growth records and traffic accident statistics. Capacity analysis was conducted based on the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (PKJI) 2023 by comparing existing conditions (5 m road width) with a widening scenario (7.2 m). The results show a significant increase in capacity from 1,494 smp/hour to 2,668 smp/hour, accompanied by an improvement in level of service from LOS E to LOS C. Projections indicate that post-widening capacity will accommodate traffic growth for the next 10 years. In terms of safety, widening may increase vehicle speeds, highlighting the need for traffic control and supporting facilities. Economically, benefits were assessed through Travel Time Savings (TTS), demonstrating substantial transport cost efficiency.
2026-07-15T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil LATERAL https://ejournal.univ-tridinanti.ac.id/index.php/lateral/article/view/809 ANALISIS SEDIMENTASI UNTUK PERENCANAAN NORMALISASI SUNGAI KEDUKAN ULU 2026-05-30T23:16:19+07:00 Muhammad Krisna Dwicahya krisnadwicahya25@gmail.com Reni Andayani reni_andayani@univ-tridinanti.ac.id Zuul Fitriana Umari zuulfitrianaumari@univ-tridinanti.ac.id Okma Yendri krisnadwicahya25@gmail.com
This study aims to evaluate the necessity of reviewing Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2018 concerning the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Regency for the 2018–2038 period. The evaluation was conducted comprehensively through two main approaches: a synchronization analysis of spatial utilization against the latest legal frameworks, and a spatial data analysis to assess the quality, validity, and deviations of spatial utilization. The evaluation reveals that the current RTRW content requires significant refinement. In terms of spatial structure, the existing document covers only 76.29% of the required parameters, with a plan depth score of just 36.72%. Critical infrastructure elements, such as local roads, environmental roads, and energy networks, remain insufficiently planned. Meanwhile, the spatial pattern element achieved an 87.50% completeness rate and a 75.00% depth rate, yet still omits strategic areas such as aquaculture and transportation zones. Furthermore, the implementation of the first five-year program shows low execution rates, most notably the delay in establishing Detailed Spatial Plans (RDTR) for designated activity centers. This study concludes that the RTRW of PALI Regency urgently requires a formal revision to integrate updated policy directions and align spatial utilization with actual regional development dynamics.
2026-07-30T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Teknik Sipil LATERAL
