Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of administering various doses of local bamboo shoot local micro organisms on the growth and yield of pakcoy mustard greens using a floating raft hydroponic system. The research was carried out at the Green House, Faculty of Agriculture, Tridinanti University, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. The research was carried out from February to March 2024 (22 February 2024 when the seeds were transferred to the installation and 21 March 2024 when the plants were harvested). The research was carried out using an experimental method using a Randomized Block Design consisting of 6 (six) treatments and 6 (six) replications. The treatments studied were: P0 = 10 ml AB ​​Mix/l water (positive control), P1 = 50 ml MOL/l water, P2 = 100 ml MOL/l water, P3 = 150 ml MOL/l water, P4 = 200 ml MOL/l water and P5 = 250 ml MOL/l water. The variables observed were: plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf area (cm2), wet stem weight (g), upper wet stem weight (g), lower wet stem weight (g) and dry stem weight (g). The results of the research showed that the use of various doses of local micro organisms from bamboo shoots in the floating raft hydroponic system had a very good effect on the growth and yield of pakcoy mustard greens. The 10 ml AB ​​Mix/l water treatment turned out to produce better growth and yield of pakcoy mustard greens compared to all local micro organisms treatments for bamboo shoots. The growth and yield of pakcoy mustard greens using the floating raft hydroponic system when compared between the local micro organisms bamboo shoot treatment alone, the 150 ml MOL/l water treatment produced good growth and yields of pakcoy mustard greens, namely an average plant height of 16,08 cm; average number of plant leaves 16,00 (strands); average plant leaf area 366,18 cm2; average plant wet fruit weight 51,98 g; the average wet weight of the upper plant is 35,44 g; the average wet stem weight of the lower plants was 16,54 g and the average dry stem weight of the plants was 4,48 g.
