Pengaruh Jarak Tanam terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Kacang Hijau (Vigna radiata L.) Varietas Vima 1

This research aims to examine the effect of planting density on the growth and yield of mung bean plants (Vigna radiata L.). This research was carried out in the Research Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tridinanti University, located in Pulau Semambu, North Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra, from September 2023 to October 2023. The research design used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 (four) treatments and 6 (six) replications. The number of plants studied in the experimental unit was 3 (three) sample plants. The treatments studied were J1 with planting density = 40 cm x 15 cm, J2 = 40 cm x 20 cm, J3 = 40 cm x 25 cm, and J4 = 40 cm x 30 cm. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, number of pods per plant, number of pods per plot, pod weight per plant, pod weight per plot, seed weight per plant and yield. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the planting density (40 cm x 20 cm) had a good affected on the growth and yield of mung bean plants, namely producing a plant height of 19.28 cm at 40 days after planting, flowering age of 41.73 days, number of pods per plant 6.89, number of pods per plot 140.83, weight of pods per plant 8.50 g, pods per plot 153.83 g, weight of seeds per plant 7.78 g with production results 933,6 kg/ha.
