Abstract

This study aims to identify the weeds that dominate the growth of glutinous  corn  (Zea mays ceratina). The research was carried out in the experimental garden of Tridinanti University Palembang in Semambu Village Indralaya Ogan Ilir Palembang City, South Sumatra from August 2020 to October 2020. This study used a quadratic method with 5 experimental plots, weed samples were taken 2 times, in the first month and the second month. The results of the SDR calculation carried out showed that in the first month the weeds that had the highest SDR value or dominated the growth were Amaranthus retroflexy L. (25.22%), while in the second month the highest SDR value was Digitaria sangunialis (L.) Scop (25.4%).
