Traditional lean-oriented supply chains, which primarily focus on operational efficiency and waste reduction, are increasingly challenged by global disruptions, sustainability pressures, and the need for resilience. This study aims to analyze the development of research trends related to automotive supply chain transformation during the period 2015–2025, identify dominant research themes, and explore the role of Industry 4.0 technologies in supporting supply chain transformation within the automotive manufacturing sector. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) combined with bibliometric analysis using data collected from the Scopus database. The analysis focuses on publications related to supply chain management and automotive manufacturing published between 2015 and 2025. The study examines publication trends, journal sources, leading authors, territorial distribution, and thematic evolution associated with Lean Supply Chain, resilience, sustainability, and Industry 4.0 technologies. The findings indicate a significant increase in research publications, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting a paradigm shift from efficiency-oriented supply chains toward resilient automotive ecosystems. The dominant research themes include Lean Supply Chain, digital transformation, supply chain resilience, and sustainability. Technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, blockchain, and artificial intelligence play important roles in improving supply chain visibility, flexibility, and responsiveness. The study concludes that the integration of Lean Supply Chain, Industry 4.0, resilience, and sustainability has become a strategic direction for future automotive supply chain development. The motivation of this study arises from the fragmented nature of existing literature, where Lean Production, digital transformation, and logistics optimization are often discussed separately without a unified conceptual structure. The automotive industry, characterized by high complexity and dynamic supply chain interactions, requires a more integrated approach to improve efficiency and responsiveness across production and logistics systems.The study employs a conceptual paper approach based on literature synthesis to identify key relationships among Lean Production, Value Stream Mapping, Industry 4.0 capability, information quality, production logistics integration, and logistics performance. Lean Production focuses on waste reduction and process efficiency, while Value Stream Mapping supports the visualization of material and information flows to identify inefficiencies. Industry 4.0 capability enhances real-time data integration and system connectivity, improving information quality and decision-making processes. These elements collectively contribute to strengthening production logistics integration as a central mechanism for improving logistics performance. The proposed conceptual framework suggests that Lean Production, Value Stream Mapping, Industry 4.0 capability, and information quality positively influence production logistics integration, which in turn enhances logistics performance. The integration of lean and digital capabilities provides a more comprehensive approach to managing material flow, information flow, and operational coordination in automotive manufacturing systems. The novelty lies in introducing a regenerative perspective that combines Flow Efficiency, Sustainability Creation, Resource Circularity, and Regenerative Feedback within a single conceptual structure. Existing studies have progressively incorporated sustainability, circularity, and system transformation perspectives into Lean and VSM; however, these developments remain fragmented and primarily additive, limiting their ability to establish an integrated value generation mechanism. To address this gap, this study employed a conceptual synthesis approach using a literature-derived dataset as the basis for concept extraction, concept clustering, relationship abstraction, and framework construction. No empirical testing, simulation, statistical validation, or bibliometric analysis was conducted because the objective was theory development. The proposed framework suggests that value should no longer be interpreted as a final operational outcome but as a continuously renewed process. Dalam penelitian ini metode <em>Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) </em>digunakan&nbsp; untuk mengidentifikasi,&nbsp; menganalisis,&nbsp; dan&nbsp; mengevaluasi&nbsp; potensi&nbsp; kegagalan pada 28 unit komponen mesin. Metode ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis Tingkat <em>Severity, Occurence, </em>dan <em>Detection </em>berdasarkan data historis perbaikan Mesin <em>Peeling Conveyor. </em>Komponen tanpa kegagalan historis, estimasi tingkat kegagalan dihitung menggunakan pendekatan<em> Poisson 95% CI </em>agar tetap mempertimbangkan risiko potensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai RPN komponen berada pada rentang 8 hingga 80, yang seluruhnya termasuk kategori pemeliharaan korektif. Komponen dengan RPN tertinggi adalah<em> Gear box raw, Belt Conveyor finish, Sprocket Belt finish, dan Bearing AS Conveyor. </em>Hasil ini menjadi dasar prioritas perawatan untuk meminimalkan downtime dan meningkatkan keandalan mesin.</p> Efa Ranggata Dewi, Rizky Stighfarrinata Copyright (c) 2026 JIeTri : Journal of Industrial Engineering Tridinanti https://ejournal.univ-tridinanti.ac.id/index.php/Jietri/article/view/1671 Wed, 01 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Human-Centered Lean Transformation: Integrating Organizational Culture, Digital Capability, and Sustainable Performance https://ejournal.univ-tridinanti.ac.id/index.php/Jietri/article/view/2053 <p><strong>The increasing complexity of manufacturing systems has shifted Lean Manufacturing from a tool-oriented approach toward a comprehensive organizational transformation strategy. However, previous studies have predominantly examined organizational, human, digital, and operational factors independently, resulting in a fragmented understanding of sustainable Lean transformation. This study aims to develop an Integrated Human-Centered Lean Transformation Framework by synthesizing the current body of knowledge on Lean Manufacturing. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) combined with bibliometric analysis was conducted using 118 Scopus-indexed journal articles to identify research trends, thematic evolution, and conceptual relationships among key constructs. The findings reveal five interrelated dimensions that drive Lean transformation: Organizational Foundation, Human Capital Development, Digital Capability, Lean Transformation Process, and Strategic Performance Outcomes. The proposed framework highlights that successful Lean transformation is achieved through the sequential integration of these dimensions rather than through isolated implementation of Lean practices. This study contributes to literature by offering a comprehensive conceptual framework that bridges organizational readiness, human-centered development, digital enablement, and Lean implementation within a single transformation pathway. From a practical perspective, the framework provides strategic guidance for manufacturing organizations seeking sustainable operational excellence. Nevertheless, this study is limited to Scopus-indexed publications and has not empirically validated the proposed relationships.
