ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menguji keefektifan model pembelajaran PjBL berbasis teka-teki silang online dalam keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa Kabupaten Magelang. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen one group prestest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini, siswa kelas Fase F IPA SMA Muhammadiyah Mungkid. Menggunakan angket dan tes sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji keefektifan model pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi menggunakan PjBL berbasis media pembelajaran teka-teki silang online efektif untuk digunakan. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan adanya perolehan nilai rerata pascates 88,60 lebih besar dari nilai rerata pretes 73,20. Hal tersebut menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi peserta didik setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi menggunakan PjBL berbasis media teka-teki silang online. Selain itu, berdasarkan output tersebut nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Jadi nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Ha diterima memiliki arti ada perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi menggunakan PjBL berbasis media teka-teki silang online. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran tersebut, efektif secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi peserta didik.
ABSTRACT: The aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of the online crossword-based PjBL learning model in the explanatory text writing skills of Magelang Regency students. The method used in this research is a one group pretest-posttest experimental method. The population of this study were students in Phase F Science class at Muhammadiyah Mungkid High School. Using questionnaires and tests as data collection techniques. Using quantitative descriptive analysis as a data analysis technique. The results of the research show that the effectiveness of the learning model for writing explanatory text using PjBL based on online crossword learning media is tested effective to use. This is reinforced by the post-test mean score of 88.60 which is greater than the pre-test mean score of 73.20. This shows an increase in students' ability to write explanatory text after using the learning model for writing explanatory text using PjBL based on online crossword media . Apart from that, based on the output the Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000. So the Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Ha is accepted which means there is a significant difference before and after using the learning model for writing explanatory text using PjBL based on online crossword media . Thus, it can be concluded that the use of this learning model is significantly effective in increasing students' ability to write explanatory texts.
