IMPLICATURES ON THE TV SHOW MAIN HAKIM SENDIRI EPISODE HABIB JA'FAR AND YONO BAKRIE

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Main hakim sendiri episode Habib Ja'far dan Yono Bakrie pada acara televisi mengandung Implikatur. Kajian pragmatik mengenai implikatur dalam acara TV Main Hakim Sendiri episode Habib Ja'far dan Yono Bakrie di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Grice dengan prinsip kerja sama (cooperative principle), yakni: (1)  maksim kuantitas, (2) maksim kualitas, (3) maksim relevansi, (4) maksim cara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian simak kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik simak, rekam, dan catat. Hasil analisis terdapat 6 tuturan prinsip kerjasama. Pelanggaran terhadap maksim kuantitas sebanyak 1 data, maksim kualitas 1 data dan pelanggaran 1 data, maksim relevansi sebanyak 2 data, dan 1 data pelanggaran maksim cara.

ABSTRACT: The TV show Main Hakim Sendiri episode Habib Ja'far and Yono Bakrie on the television show contains Implicature. Implicature is one of the pragmatic studies that focuses on meaning based on context. The pragmatic study of implicature in the TV show Main Hakim Sendiri episode Habib Ja'far and Yono Bakrie in this study uses Grice's theory with the cooperative principle, namely: (1) maxim of quantity, (2) maxim of quality, (3) maxim of relevance, and (4) maxim of manner. The method used in this study is the qualitative observation research method. The technique used for data collection in this study is the observation, recording, and note-taking technique. The results of the analysis in this study contained six cooperative principle utterances. In this study, there were one data violation in the maxim of quantity, one data in the maxim of quality, and one data in the maxim of manner. There were no violations of the maxim of relevance. There was one data maxim of quality and two data maxim of relevance. There were no maxims of quantity and maxims of manner. This research aims to understand more deeply the use of implicatures in conversation so that readers can be more fluent in communicating by understanding the meaning of the words spoken by the speaker and avoiding misunderstandings. This Pragmatic Study on implicatures in the TV show Main Hakim Sendiri episode Habib Ja'far and Yono Bakrie is expected to increase knowledge and can be put into daily conversation.
